Creamy Avocado Pesto Dip

I dip, you dip, we dip. Who doesn’t love a delicious dip? We sure do, and this is one of our favorites. Our Creamy Avocado Pesto Dip is packed with flavor and South Beach-approved.

Toasted pine nuts are combined with basil, fresh garlic, fresh avocado, avocado oil, lemon juice and sea salt to make this flavor-filled dip.   • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1 large bunch basil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 3 Tbsp. avocado
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt


  1. Heat oven or toaster to 275°F. Spread pine nuts on a baking tray and bake until fragrant and lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Cool slightly, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the basil, garlic and pine nuts to a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  3. With the food processor running, add the avocado oil in a steady stream.
  4. Add fresh avocado, lemon juice and salt. Pulse a few times to combine and serve.
