Will I be hungry on the South Beach Diet®?

On the South Beach Diet® you will be eating a variety of nutrient dense—high in protein and healthy fat—foods throughout the day to help keep you feeling full; however, with all reduced calorie diets there may be an adjustment period as your body gets used to eating less food. If you feel that you are still hungry after eating all the weight loss foods on your recommended meal plan for the day, you have the flexibility to enjoy an extra serving of low-calorie, low-carb vegetables like celery sticks or a small side salad.
