The South Beach Diet is a low carb, high-protein, low-added sugar diet plan. Our phased approach will help you learn the way to lose weight without hunger or deprivation.
During the first phase, called “Phase 1,” you’ll eat plenty of lean proteins, heart-healthy fats and carbohydrates from non-starchy vegetables.
In Phase 2, Steady Weight Loss, you’ll continue to enjoy adding lean proteins, healthy fats and vegetables. You’ll also begin to add in high-quality carbs from whole grains, fruit and starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes.
